About
This is a passion project where I learn about things I find interesting and then write 500-1,000 word articles about them. My goal is to learn, write, and curate that knowledge into my own personal “online museum.”

The Concorde Supersonic Jet: A Revolution in Air Travel History
From 1976 to 2003, general consumers could fly across the Atlantic at supersonic speeds, all thanks to a joint aviation development from the French and British: The Concorde supersonic jet. French company Aérospatiale (then Sud Aviation) and the British Aircraft Corporation (BAC) joined forces in the 1960s to begin crafting a supersonic passenger jet. This concise essay will serve as a brief account of the history of the Concorde and its significance in the late 20th Century.
The Empire State Building: Art Deco Architecture in New York City
Art Deco is one of the most notable design movements of the 20th Century. Short for Arts décoratifs, it originated in France shortly before the First World War. In 1925, the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts was held in Paris and put Art Deco on the world stage. From there, it spread widely throughout the world in many forms of design, from art to fashion to architecture and more. Art Deco is well known for its luxurious, opulent, and adorned style. Focus On What’s In Front Of You
We’ve all got plenty of responsibilities, and plenty of tasks to complete. Many times, it can be easy to allow yourself to feel overwhelmed with everything you have to do. But letting these things rent space in your head and overthinking them can actually cause you to be less productive. Instead of focusing your energy in one direction, you’re dispersing it across three, four, or maybe five different fronts, and that is counterproductive. It will only hurt you in the longer run. So today, let’s cover how important it is to focus on what is in front of you.
Take A Break
It’s important that we take a break from time to time. To prevent burnout and to spend time with the people we love. Giving yourself a little time to get away from the grind isn’t a bad thing. That said, it must be done with caution. Don’t let a weekend away from your side hustle turn into six months of stagnation.
There’s Success in Service
Whether you realize it or not, much success can be brought upon you through service. I’m not just talking about career success or financial success. I’m also not talking about some sort of self-sacrificing servitude. What I’m examining this week is the levels of...
Flexibility: Adapt and Pivot
all aspects of life, flexibility is a virtue. Whether it be with friends, family, relationships, or business, you’ll always benefit from being flexible. For some, flexibility has been the catalyst for massive success. For others, the lack of flexibility has brought great difficulty upon them.
Do What You Love
I’m sure that at some point in your life someone told you to “do what you love” as it relates to your career. I’m also pretty sure that many of you reading this right now aren’t doing what you love. I’d even take it a step further and say many of you are not doing anything you like. As a matter of fact, maybe you even dislike what you do.
Success Starts With The Essentials
It is my opinion that in today’s world, success is more attainable than ever. That’s not to assert that I am the authority on success, it’s only an observation. I don’t think many would disagree with me either. In modern society, people, resources, and information are more accessible than they have ever been before. For those that have the right mindset and approach, these resources can be leveraged to create previously unimaginable levels of success. To me however, it all starts with the essentials.
Don’t Be A Victim
More than ever, it’s become very easy to feel like you have been wronged and are a victim. Don’t get me wrong, it is definitely possible for someone to be victimized beyond their control. I’m not denying that. Even so, in many cases today it seems all-to-common for people to quickly begin to feel sorry for themselves.
New Year, New Chapter
As we approach the final hours of 2021 and enter a new year, let us reflect on the opportunity for growth we now have. It’s very common to see people around this time of year coming up with resolutions and dedicating themselves to being better people. Let’s take some time to look at this transition into 2022 as a blank page in a new chapter. Read below for a handful of my biggest meditations of this year.
